About Chris Johnson

Chris was raised in Sportsman’s Paradise Southwest Louisiana where he enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and fishing with his friends and family. He attended McNeese State University on a full golf scholarship and played golf tournaments all over the Country.

After college, Chris joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his duty in Operation Vigilant Warrior and earned an Air Force Achievement Medal for his work while stationed in the Middle East.

Once his military career ended, he spent the next twenty plus years in sales in the oil and gas corporate market all along the Gulf Coast while living in the Houston, Texas area.

Chris first fell in love with the beautiful Emerald Coast in the late 80’s while vacationing in Destin and playing most of the amazing golf courses all along the Coast between Pensacola and Panama City Beach. “After retiring from the corporate world, it was time to make a decision for the next chapter of my life. It only took one meeting with Brooks for me to decide to move to the Destin area and become a Realtor. Gulf Realty 30A is a great company with an outstanding team. It was an easy decision and I have the greatest job in the world. I get to help others find their next dream vacation home. It doesn’t get any better than that!”

Chris and his fiancée currently live in Santa Rosa Beach and enjoy exquisite sunsets on the beach, delightful local restaurants, paddle boarding, and playing golf.
